CARCER, responsible for processing your Personal Data, takes very seriously the privacy of any person who visits our online store and our physical stores, and more broadly of any person who transmits Personal Data (term defined below) concerning them, when in contact with our brand.

By using the Website and placing orders, you explicitly agree to the use of your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This same Privacy Policy applies whenever you provide us with your Personal Data and to any processing we may carry out on it.

You can subscribe to the CARCER Newsletter and thus choose to be informed, at regular intervals, of offers proposed on the Website, by CARCER Stores and/or by our partners.

5 - Transmission of your personal data to third parties
We may be required to transmit your Personal Data:
To CARCER, its licensees and distributors, who may use your Personal Data to send you information and commercial offers concerning existing or new CARCER products.
to some of our service providers who help us fulfill your order, deliver your products, collect your payment, send you information and commercial offers, and analyze your use of the Website, with a view to improving the quality and effectiveness of the Website, it being understood that said service providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and to compliance with the laws in force concerning the protection of your Personal Data.
6 - Your rights

7 - Data security
We have implemented and maintain all appropriate safeguards to ensure that our internal procedures for the security of your Personal Data comply with applicable regulations. We also make every effort to ensure that third parties who work with us, under contract, as service providers, to make this Website and its content available to you and to fulfill your orders (including through our telephone ordering service), provide adequate protection for the Personal Data to which they have access. 9 - Location of your personal data
We store your Personal Data in the European Economic Area (“EEA”, namely the 28 Member States of the European Union, as well as Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) where the Website servers are located.

Depending on the processing purpose identified in the table below, we apply the corresponding retention period for your Personal Data.
Purpose of processing:
Management of e-commerce customers, CARCER Store customers and prospects, including customer relationship management, marketing campaign management, tracking of in-store e-reservations, management of defective products and package tracking.
Retention period applied:
- Personal Data relating to customers: duration of the contractual relationship plus the legal limitation periods, i.e. 5 years.
- Data relating to non-customer prospects: 3 years from the last active contact with our brand.
- Historical purchase and browsing cookies: 13 months.
- Bank card number and validity date: 15 months following the debit date.
- The visual cryptogram of a bank card: The time of the transaction.

We may offer you links to other websites. However, we are not responsible for the content or information collection policies of these websites.
